Pearland resident sues over elevator incident in Spring

　　A Pearland resident is suing after, she says, she was injured while on a Spring-area elevator.
　　Pearland residents Olga and Steve Lewis filed a lawsuit on May 7 in the Harris County District Court against Northchase Plaza Investment, alleging negligence and breach of contract.
　　The plaintiffs say that on May 9, 2009, Olga Lewis suffered serious injuries while using an elevator in the building located at 13340 Torrey Chase Blvd. in Spring. According to the brief, the elevator rose to the third floor, but then suddenly fell back to the first flood, stopping abruptly.
　　The plaintiffs are seeking damages of at least $200,000, attorney’s fees and court costs.
