FAIR OAKS MALL EXPANSION

　　The owners of Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax County, Virginia, are seeking land-use authority that will allow them to transform the retail property into an urban community centered around a transit station. The Fairfax County Planning Commission has approved a plan that would allow the development, which would include the mall, a hotel, high-rise apartment buildings and offices.
