Philly man falls down elevator shaft, dies

　　Authorities say a man celebrating his 25th birthday was killed in a fall down an elevator shaft at a Center City apartment building.
　　Police said that the man was trying to take the elevator in his building at 7th and Chestnut streets when he fell four stories down the elevator shaft early Saturday.
　　Firefighters worked for an hour to free the man, but he was pronounced dead at Jefferson Hospital. His name has not been released. Police and the city department of Licensing and Inspections are investigating.
