通力将负责改造高层建筑Tour Areva内的电梯，Tour Areva建筑位于法国巴黎La Défense区，已有37年的历史，高184米，是La Défense第二高的摩天大楼。通力新技术将使大楼里几千职员上下楼更便捷。
　　通力将安装23套通力ResolveX2电梯，包括通力EcoDisc起重机，控制器以及电气系统升级。订单产品有通力Polaris 目的楼层控制系统，该系统可提升现有电梯的吞吐量，减少乘客等待时间。为了最大程度降低对乘客和其他设施造成的影响，通力全面改造工程将会持续4年。改造完成后，该44层高楼电梯吞吐量将增加。这些方案能减少Tour Areva带来的环境问题，实现能量利用最大化。
　　“通力很早之前就在Tour Areva有项目，我们很高兴能通过我们全球团队的专门技术给乘客带来新体验，” EVP以及通力西南欧区域主管Pierre Liautaud称，“该项工程完成后，这座像标建筑里的电梯将更快，更舒适，也会更节能。”
　　众所周知， Tour Areva或称Tour Fiat的原电梯于1974由西屋公司安装，西屋公司之后同一年为通力收购。通力电梯1988年也对该建筑进行了改造。此次改造工程将于2012年1月开始，有望于2016年竣工。
　　订单已于2011年第二季度签订。

KONE to modernize the elevators at Tour Areva in Paris

　　KONE has been selected to modernize the elevators of the Tour Areva high-rise building in the La Défense district outside of Paris, France. The 37-year-old Tour Areva at 184 meters high is the second tallest skyscraper in La Défense. The new technologies will improve the daily People Flow™ of the thousands of employees moving in the building. 
　　KONE will equip the 23 elevators with the KONE ReSolve™ X2  package, which includes KONE EcoDisc® hoisting machines and controller and electrification system upgrades. The order includes the KONE Polaris™ destination control system, which will increase the handling capacity of the existing elevators and reduce waiting times. The KONE Modernization Overlay process will be used during the four-year renovation project to minimize disruption to the facility and end users, and will increase the people flow capacity in the 44-storey high-rise. Together these solutions will maximize the energy efficiency which will reduce the environmental impact of Tour Areva.

　　The original elevators of Tour Areva, or Tour Fiat as it was known in 1974, were installed by Westinghouse, which became a part of KONE later the same year. KONE also modernized the elevators in 1988. Work on the project will begin in January 2012 and is expected to be completed in 2016.
　　The order was booked in Q2 of 2011.
