中北电梯公司与美国劳务局下属的职业安全健康管理局达成协议， 2010年沃纳乘客被困事故中涉及到的对中北公司的罚金将降低。

North Central elevator, OSHA agreement would reduce fine

　　An agreement between North Central Farmers Elevator and the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration would reduce the fine the cooperative will pay after a 2010 elevator entrapment in Warner.
　　The number of willful violations North Central would admit to would be reduced under the agreement, according to a press release from the cooperative.
　　Tom Deutscher, OSHA area director based in Bismarck, N.D., said today that he had not been notified that the agreement has been finalized, but that one appeared imminent. The details in the North Central release are in line with those that attorneys in the case have recently been discussing, he said. North Central's release said the agreement had been finalized.
　　On Oct. 18, 2010, Chad Fischbach was trapped in an elevator for about two and a half hours at North Central's Warner site. Emergency personnel used a grain tube, a device commonly used in saving someone trapped in grain, to free him. Fischbach, then an elevator employee, was trapped up to his shoulders.
