通力电梯已获订单，将为德克萨斯大学西南医学中心的新医院安装电梯。转移病人使用的医疗相关设备需要特别注意，通力在医院用电梯和自动扶梯方面有多年丰富的设计、实施以及维护经验。

KONE secures University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center Project

　　KONE has been awarded an order by the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center to install elevators for a new hospital facility. Medical facilities require special attention to moving patients and visitors, and KONE is drawing on its long history of designing, implementing, maintaining and modernizing elevator and escalator solutions for hospital environments.
　　UT Southwestern Medical Center is a leading research, academic and patient care medical center. The new hospital is being constructed to accommodate growth in patient care, as well as to incorporate state-of-the-art technology.
　　"We are pleased to be recognized by the University of Texas for our exemplary knowledge of People Flow® solutions," said Vance Tang, EVP and Area Director of KONE Americas. "Our extensive research and focus on this area enables patients, hospital staff and visitors to move smoothly and safely in the hospital."
　　As part of this project, KONE is installing 22 elevators, including machine room-less and overhead traction elevators. KONE's work on the hospital will begin in August 2012, and the facility is scheduled to open in 2015.
　　The order was booked in the third quarter of 2011.
