据ET Now Digital报道，印度新德里火车站即将开展全面翻修工程，由奥雅那工程顾问公司设计，将安装新的电梯和自动扶梯等设备。这是印度铁路部门主持的工程，旨在为全印度的火车站增加超过2500台自动扶梯和1000台电梯。除了新增电梯设备以外，该火车站还会增添迷人的墙画设计，安装LED照明设备和LCD展板，建立人行天桥和加强旅客便利设施，如自动售货机等。印度铁路部门称此次的翻修工程将使火车站的硬件设施向国际级别的机场靠近。
