　　　KONE’S 2019 CHINA FORECAST: FALLING OR STABLE ORDERS

　　KONE expects units ordered in China to fall or remain stable in 2019, reports Reuters, which notes the Finnish company’s 2019 profit forecast missed analyst estimates by shares being down slightly, rather than flat. KONE said in an earnings report there is “increased uncertainty” in major markets, with Reuters observing, “The whole elevator sector has struggled in recent years with falling installations in China, but KONE’s U.S.-based rival Otis said on [January 23] it expected continued infrastructure spending by the Chinese government.”
