近日，位于美国亚特兰大技术广场的Coda大厦，是一座高21层的混用型大厦，目前安装了北美洲第一套蒂森克虏伯的TWIN电梯系统，使得两个轿厢可以在一条电梯井中运行。该大厦占地770000平方英尺，拥有号称世界上最高的螺旋式楼梯，并且配有5条电梯井道和10台TWIN电梯。蒂森克虏伯称TWIN系列通过减少电梯井的数量，增加了可出租面积，还提高了能源利用效率，比传统电梯多运输40%的乘客。

　　The 21-story, mixed-use Coda Building, featuring the first North American installation of thyssenkrupp's TWIN elevator system, with two cars operating independently in one shaft, is open in Tech Square in Midtown Atlanta. The 770,000-sq.-ft. building, which also boasts the world's tallest spiral staircase, is served by 10 TWIN elevators in five shafts. thyssenkrupp observes TWIN gives leasable space back to the building by reducing the number of shafts, provides better energy efficiency and transports up to 40% more passengers than traditional systems.
