　　Telefónica Business Solutions will be the Internet of Things (IoT) and network connectivity partner for Schindler's cloud-based digital platform Schindler Ahead, the companies announced on May 27. Using artificial intelligence, Schindler Ahead provides predictive maintenance by analyzing cloud-based data from connected elevators and escalators to improve diagnostics and equipment reliability as well as providing passengers with interactive and personalized services. Operating in more than 40 countries, Telefónica provides a range of communications solutions for the business-to-business market. "Offering customers network connectivity through a single provider is increasingly important as digitization advances in the building-management sector," Schindler observes.
