WOMAN DECAPITATED IN GRUESOME ELEVATOR MISHAP IN INDIA
A 48-year-old woman was decapitated in a gruesome elevator accident at the plastics factory where she worked in Vadodara, India, on May 27, The Epoch Times is among news outlets to report. The woman, who worked as a cleaner, was apparently trying to free her headphones from the elevator door when the incident happened. After cleaning the ground floor shortly after 8 a.m., she boarded a roofless goods elevator to the third floor. "Police found her head on the ground floor, while the rest of her body got transported to the third floor," the source says. "The earphones were found still attached to her severed head, and music from a playlist was found playing on her phone. The phone was in her hands and was found with her body." Police speculated the victim was using her phone and stuck her head outside the lift. They registered a case of accidental death, but are trying to learn if the elevator had problems previously.
