近日，一项报告显示，美国纳什维尔市的乘客困梯问题日益严峻。该项研究对2017年至2019年纳什维尔市的911应急电话进行调查，其中2016年有158宗乘客困梯事故报警，2017年有231宗，而2018年年初有373宗，而市区为事故多发区。目前，当地建筑市场兴旺，每年的电梯增长数量也逐步增加。据当地劳工部门发言人斯蒂芬霍金斯的说法，越新的电梯越需要一个“适应”过程，并且在运行数月后方可更加可靠地运行。自2018年以来，乘客困梯事件最多的建筑是教堂街（Church Street）的公共广场车库（Public Square Garage），共发生了10起。

　　A new report shows Nashville has an increasing problem of people getting stuck in elevators. An investigative story  looked at the 911 calls for the city from 2017-2019. There were 158 calls of entrapment in 2016, 231 in 2017 and 373 calls since the beginning of 2018. The area with the highest concentration of incidents was the downtown corridor. With a booming construction market, the city gets more elevators each year, and according to Steven Hawkins with the state department of labor, newer elevators have a “settling in” process and work more reliably after a few months. The building with the most elevator entrapments since 2018 (10) is the Public Square Garage on Church Street.
