据媒体报道，近日，阿美尼亚的邻国阿塞拜疆的电梯维修生产协会与德国威特股份公司签约，要求对方负责首都巴库城内的多家住宅楼的电梯设备及技术基础的升级工作。基于该合同，威特股份公司将会供应超过500台电梯设备。目前有63台将在7月完成安装，有145台电梯设备仍在安装当中。新的电梯设备将采用电子及备用电源系统。威特股份公司将开发一个统一的系统，好从一个中心就可以管理这542台电梯设备。

　　MORE THAN 500 ELEVATORS FOR AZERBAIJAN CAPITAL

　　The Lift Repair Production Association in Azerbaijan, a Middle Eastern country that borders Armenia, has signed a contract with German company Wittur Holding GmbH to fulfill an order to strengthen the material and technical bases of elevators in multi-apartment buildings in the capital city of Baku, Trend News Agencyreports. More than 500 elevators will be supplied to Baku based on the contract. There were 63 supplied in July and the total number is currently at 145 elevators installed. The new elevators have been equipped with electronic and power backup systems. A unified dispatch system will also be created to manage all 542 elevators from one center.
