据美国国家电梯协会NEII Inside报道，华盛顿州劳工及工业部决定对本州电梯法规进行修改，自本月初起效。该州在“华盛顿州行政管理规章296-96号，针对所有电梯、小型升降送货梯，自动扶梯及其他传送设备的安全规程及费用”中加入了关于现有电梯及自动扶梯设备的其他要求。这些新增的要求都符合美国机械工程师协会2015年颁布的A17.3安全规程。

　　The Washington State Department of Labor & Industries has adopted changes to its elevator rules that became effective at the beginning of the month, the National Elevator Industry, Inc. (NEII) reported in its NEII Insider newsletter. Additional requirements for existing elevators and escalators have been added to "Washington Administrative Code 296-96, Safety Regulations and Fees for All Elevators, Dumbwaiters, Escalators, and Other Conveyances." They are according to the 2015 ASME A17.3 safety codes.
