　　The NYC Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) plans to add elevators compliant with the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) at two stations in Astoria, Queens, but a council member said elevators are needed at more of the neighborhood's stops, the Astoria Post reports. In mid-September, MTA announced the Broadway and Steinway Street stations would receive elevators as part of its 2020-2024 capital plan, which calls for ADA-compliant units at 70 stations around the city.
