NEW KONE CLASS B SHARES SUBSCRIBED: A total of 1,755,310 new KONE class B shares have been subscribed for with 2005C option rights. The corresponding EUR438,827.50 (US$543,427.39) increase in KONE Corp.'s share capital was entered into the Finnish Trade Register on May 14. Trading of the new shares began on May 17. The shares acquired shall first qualify for dividend payment for the financial year during which the subscription has taken place. Other rights related to the shares shall commence on the date when the increase in the share capital is entered into the Finnish Trade Register.

    FUJITEC TO EQUIP BEIJING SUBWAY: Huasheng Fujitec Elevator Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Huasheng Fujitec Escalator Co., Ltd. have jointly received an order for 264 escalators to be supplied and installed in the Beijing Subway, which is currently under construction. The two companies are subsidiaries of Fujitec Co., Ltd. Combined with an order of 108 escalators Fujitec has already delivered to the metro system, the company will have 372 escalators in 47 stations when the Beijing Subway opens in September 2013.
    富士达电梯装备北京地铁：华升富士达有限公司与上海华升富士达有限公司共同合作为正在建设中的北京地铁提供264台扶梯。这两家公司是富士达公司的子公司。加上以前为北京地铁提供的108台扶梯，截止2013年9月北京地铁开放，富士达将为北京地铁47个车站提供372台扶梯。

    MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR 2010: On April 30, Mitsubishi Electric Corp. announced its consolidated and non-consolidated financial results for its 2010 fiscal year, which ended March 31. Net sales for both consolidated and non-consolidated results fell 9% when compared to the previous year. Consolidated results included a 33% decrease in operating income, but an increase in income before income taxes of 46% when compared to last year. In its non-consolidated results, Mitsubishi Electric reported a 48% increase in ordinary profit when compared to 2009. Its building systems business experienced decreases in both orders and sales from the previous fiscal year, primarily due to decreases in the global demand for elevators and escalators, as well as postponements and cancellations in large-scale projects.
    三菱电机2010财政报告：4月30日，三菱电机公布其截止于3月31日的2010财政综合报表和非综合报表。相对于2009年，综合报表和非综合两项报表中的销售净额降低9%。综合报表中营业收入下降33%，但相比于去年，税前收入增加了46%。在非综合报告中，三菱电机报告称普通贸易利润较2009年度增加48%。自上一财政年度，三菱电机在建筑系统业务方面订单销量都有所下降，首要原因在于国际电扶梯需求量的减少以及大工程的推迟和取消。
