    据报道，一家阿根廷科技公司已经开发出一款名为Residential Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator 的新型住宅电梯，它不仅占据空间小，安全性高，同时费用也非常廉价，为客户免去了价钱之忧。

   这是一款采用铝材料和聚碳酸酯材料制作的真空电梯，安装简单，几个小时便可安装完毕，搬家时也非常容易拆卸，另外，这款真空电梯非常轻，占据空间仅为1平方米，支持2-3个楼层。

     
   这款电梯通体透明，呈试管形状，无支持电梯桥厢的缆绳，看起来像是从《星际迷航》走出来的电梯一样，第一次看到它的时候，心里通常都会觉得有些不安。

    不用担心，其实这款真空电梯非常安全，在世界范围内的安装量超过了300部，工作情况顺利完美，完全按照物理学原理来进行运作，利用真空电梯桥厢上下方的压力差来保证电梯安全运作，它的构造大致可分为4个部分，如图所示，有大气气压区，密封桥厢，低气压区，以及真空区，据介绍，该真空电梯的承载能力约为450磅。
