西子奥的斯GeN2电梯配备了能源再生功能，可以将电梯在轻载上行、重载下行的过程中产生的势能转换为清洁电能返回系统电网，被楼宇内的照明设备、中央空调、电扶梯等其他用电设备再利用。相较于普通电梯，这种电梯最高可节能70%。而且GeN2电梯还采用聚氨酯复合钢带，在无需润滑的同时也延长了钢带使用寿命。
