“向善的力量”——第四届“浙江慈善奖”2014年2月27日下午揭晓并举行颁奖典礼。钱江都市频道、新蓝网•浙江网络广播电视台、浙江手机台28日晚8点05分同步播出颁奖典礼。浙江巨人控股有限公司荣获浙江慈善奖的机构捐赠奖，是浙江省唯一入选的电梯行业企业。
　　“浙江慈善奖”是浙江省公益慈善领域最高奖，表彰在赈灾、扶老、助残、救孤、济困、助学、助医以及支持文化艺术、环境保护等方面的作出突出贡献的个人、机构，以及优秀慈善项目。第四届“浙江慈善奖”评选活动从2013年9月底开始启动，共评出机构捐赠奖26家企业。此次浙江巨人控股有限公司获此奖项是经过了专家评委评审、网络公众投票、社会公示等程序决逐而出的，是浙江企业慈善的楷模。得知获得“浙江慈善奖”后巨人控股钱江董事长说：“我们很光荣，还要继续努力”。
　　“用我们的劳动，提高我们的生活，建设一个美好的社会”，多年来，巨人控股一直秉承“得诸社会、还诸社会”的理念，长期致力于做负责任的优秀企业，在自身成长的同时，积极回馈社会，参与了希望工程、光彩事业、村企结对等多项支教助学、扶贫帮困社会公益事业，并建有“巨人”冠名慈善基金。

　　浙江巨人控股有限公司前身为湖州电梯总厂，始建于1951年，早期产品主要有农具、农机、马铁、拖拉机、机床、阀门等。1978年，工厂开始生产电梯整机，是国内最早的电梯制造企业之一。2005年初，与全球第二大电梯公司芬兰通力集团组建合资企业——巨人通力电梯有限公司，揭开了中外合作、强强联合的新篇章，电梯整机业务自合资企业成立以来一直保持着持续、快速的增长势头。依托整机产品业务的强劲增长，机械式停车设备、电梯及自动扶梯部件业务也得到长足的发展，业已形成年产二万个机械式停车位以及四万台套电梯、扶梯部件的能力。

ZHEJIANG GIANT HOLDING CO., LTD won grand prize of Zhejiang charity, “Zhejiang Charity Award”

　　“Force towards kindness”—the forth “Zhejiang Charity Award” announced and held an award ceremony in the afternoon of February 27, 2014. Qianjiang City Channel, New Blue Net-Zhejiang radio and television network, Zhejiang Mobile TV broadcast the award ceremony on 8:05 pm. ZHEJIANG GIANT HOLDING CO., LTD won institutions donation award of Zhejiang charity, and it is the only elevator company selected in Zhejiang province.
　　“Zhejiang Charity Award” is the highest award of Zhejiang public charity. It commends the personal and institution which make outstanding contributions on disaster relief, helping older, disabled, orphans, poverty and students and medicine and so on. It launched on the end of September, 2013 and collected 26 companies. ZHEJIANG GIANT HOLDING CO., LTD won this award is by experts review, network voting and public notice and it can be model of enterprises in Zhejiang. The chairman of ZHEJIANG GIANT HOLDING CO., LTD indicated that: “it’s our honor and we will continue”.
　　“Use our labor to improve our life and build a good society”, over the years, GIANT HOLDING always held the idea of “receive from society, give back to it”; devoted itself to be a responsible company. It participated in the HOPE Project, the Glorious Cause and some other public welfares and owned “Giant” branded charitable fund.
　　The predecessor of ZHEJIANG GIANT HOLDING CO., LTD is Huzhou elevator factory which was built in 1951; early products were farm tool, agricultural machinery, MOS, tractor, machine tool, valve etc. In 1978, the factory began to produce elevator which was one of the earliest elevator manufacturers. By the beginning of 2005, it formed Giant KONE Elevator CO., LTD by the joint venture with Finland KONE Group which is the second biggest elevator enterprise and opened a new page. Depended on the strong growth of elevator machines, they developed mechanical parking equipment, elevator and escalator components business and already formed the capacity of 20 thousand mechanical parking equipment, 40 thousand elevator and escalator components by one year.
