　　Seventeen elevators at Électricité de France (EDF) headquarters in Paris were scheduled to be outfitted with thyssenkrupp MAX predictive-maintenance technology this spring, serving as a pilot project in anticipation of installation of MAX across EDF's other facilities. Including the maintenance of 585 elevators and 1,545 automatic doors across France, the deal with the energy supplier represents the first time MAX has been employed in France. thyssenkrupp touts cloud-based MAX as the first predictive-maintenance system of its type for elevators in the world, and observes it has been employed at iconic buildings including One World Trade Center in New York City.
