据印度时报报道，目前孟买地铁七号线13个站共计要安装82台自动扶梯的工程，已经Bandongri站迎来第一台扶梯的安装，孟买都市区发展局将此视为一个里程碑。该站预计在八月底可以开始经营。大部分位于此线的站都有六台自动扶梯。而孟买都市区发展局也将在地铁2A线安装105台自动扶梯。该线路的工程预计在2020年中完成，届时有望缓解线路两端西向铁路的客流情况。当局一位官员称，所有的设备都符合欧盟标准并且有“目前世界一流的安全设施”。

　　　MMRDA MARKS MILESTONE IN METRO ESCALATOR PROJECT

　　India's Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) marked a milestone when it installed the first of 82 escalators across 13 stations along Metro Line 7 at the Bandongri station, The Hindu reports. The station was scheduled to be inaugurated by the end of August. Most stations along the corridor will have six escalators. MMRDA is also installing 105 escalators on Metro Line 2A. Slated for completion by mid-2020, the corridors are expected to ease traffic along the Western Railway between Dahisar and Andheri. An MMRDA spokesman said all the new units conform to European norms and "present world-class safety features."
